SUpervision

I offer a supportive and focussed supervisory relationship

I'm interested in providing a spacious place to both ground yourself and expand yourself in your practice. I see it as a space for resourcing and for challenge. I enjoy building a real, straight-forward and collaborative relationship where you can take risks and attend to tricky stuff in this work and with yourself so that it can be a place for meaningful learning.

I also work with our relationship, listening out for what might be playing out between us that may have information about you and your client.

I offer a free 45 minute initial meeting to help us decide if we are a good fit to work together. Thereafter, fees are £60 per one hour. I generally work with supervisees on a fornightly basis for one hour; only occassionally can I offer differently.

I am also available to work with groups/organisations. For three years I held a monthly supervison group for volunteer counsellors at LGBT Health and Wellbeing in Edinburgh.

Be in touch and we can discuss possibilities together.

“Supervision is the joint endeavour in which a practitioner, with the help of a supervisor attends to their clients, themselves as part of their client-practitioner relationships and the wider systemic and ecological contexts, and by doing so improves the quality of their work, transforms their client relationships, continuously develops themselves, their practice and the wider profession”
